When a Wall Becomes a Worry…
Our latest project came with an urgent request. A lovely couple reached out to ask if we could do something about their backyard retaining wall on the Sunshine Coast —which was leaning heavily and making them nervous. Understandably so—they were worried it might fall on them one day!
Challenge Accepted!
At All Round Maintenance, we love a challenge—and this one was right up our alley. The job called for a complete rebuild of the retaining wall, with proper drainage and structural support to give the garden (and the homeowners) peace of mind.
What We Did......
We got stuck in and delivered a solid solution that looked as good as it performed:
- Removed the old, unstable wall
- Installed a new 20-metre retaining wall, built to last
- Added full drainage behind the wall:Geo fabric to prevent soil movement
- Gravel and agi pipe for proper water flow.
- Topped it off with rich new garden soil and beautiful new plants to bring the area back to life
The Result? One Happy Backyard!
The finished product looks fantastic—and most importantly, it’s safe, sturdy, and ready for years of use. Our clients were thrilled, and so were we!
